GENERAL INFORMATION
Please use the Registration Form in this packet to register everyone in your group whether they hunt or not. Please provide the ages of children 12 and under. All registered attendees will receive a free lunch which includes one hamburger, one hot dog, and a beverage. Everyone is asked to bring a potluck dish, sides, or desserts to share with others. You may bring your own food instead of or in addition to receiving lunch. Donations are appreciated if you are unable to bring a potluck item.
Each registered adult attendee and everyone registered for a paid hunt—regardless of age—will receive one free Ways & Means Raffle ticket at check-in, which means all adults who register will have a free chance to win a metal detector or other great prize, even if not hunting. Of course, everyone is encouraged to buy as many tickets as they want in the Ways & Means Raffle, as well as our 50/50 Drawing and Pirate's Treasure Chest Drawing. (NOTE: One free Ways & Means Raffle ticket per eligible person.)
Every person registered for a paid hunt will receive a gift bag (while supplies last). Please check in at the Registration Booth to get your voucher for the gift bag, which is redeemable at our Merchandise Booth.
NOTE: Registration was limited to RTHC members only until Saturday, April 6, 2019 but is now open to everyone.
REGISTRATION ONLINE
1.
The absolute last day to register for hunts online is Sunday, May 5, 2019 at 11:59 pm. Refunds will not be given after that date, however hunts are transferable up to and including the day of the hunt. NOTE: Online registration for hunts has been extended through Friday, May 10, 2019 at 6:00 pm. Hunt registrations will not be transferrable after Sunday, May 5, 2019 at 11:59 pm because all of the coins will be packaged based on registrations at that time, but they are transferable to another person up to and including the day of the event.
2. We only accept credit/debit cards for payment at this time. If you need to pay by any other method, please STOP and do not continue. Instead, contact RTHC.Annual.Roundup@gmail.com to request a PDF version of the registration form to mail and return with payment or pay in person at a General Meeting.
3. A credit card is not required if registering a group without anyone hunting.
4. Use this form for everyone attending this event (except infants, pets and extraterrestrials). To ensure a correct headcount for lunch and gift bags, please complete a separate registration form for each person (child or adult). If you have any special requests or comments you can enter them in the Order comments box during checkout.
5. Enter the name of the attendee, their age if under 18, their club affiliation (if any), then choose the appropriate member or non-member price for each hunt in which they will be participating. If the person plans to attend without hunting, just leave all hunts "NONE." Enter contact information cell phone or email address if you want (optional).
NOTE: Only RTHC regular/lifetime members in good standing are eligible for member pricing. Contact Membership Chair Bob Pahia first if you want to join the Club and get member-only pricing for this Annual Roundup. If you join the Club before registering for the Annual Roundup, you will save up to $15 by not having to pay non-member fees.
6. Leave the quantity (Qty) at 1, then click on the Add to Bag button. You will be taken to the "Your Shopping Bag" screen.
7. To add another person, click on the Continue Shopping button, click on the Registration Form (Hunts) option, then repeat steps 2-3. After entering the second order (and all after that), click on the Add More button ONLY to add your order to your Shopping Bag, otherwise it will discard the current order if you click on the Go to Checkout or Continue Shopping buttons. You do not need to check out (and pay) separately for each person.
8. When ready to complete your order, check the box next to "I agree with Terms and conditions" if you have already read them. If not, read the Terms and Conditions by clicking on the blue link and a pop-up window will appear. After reading everything, click on Accept All to continue with checkout.

OUR HUNTS
COMSTOCK LODE HUNT — $40/members ($45/non-members) / LIMIT 50 HUNTERS
Comstock Lode is named after one of the most important mining events in American History. It was the first major silver discovery that virtually ended the California Gold Rush. The Comstock Lode hunt honors this event. This all-silver coin hunt (which may include some foreign silver coins) features $40 worth of silver coins per hunter. Recovering targets quickly could give you the edge.
GRAND TOKEN HUNT — $35/members ($40/non-members) / LIMIT 50 HUNTERS
Grand Token is the mother of all token hunts requiring skill, speed, perseverance, and luck. Find the grand tokens and win the top prizes. With a plethora of targets to choose from, everyone is a winner. There will be 5 grand prizes (including a Garrett AT Max detector and a pin-pointer) and 40 regular prizes. The total value of coins and prizes will far exceed the cost of the entry fee.
EUREKA GOLD HUNT — $50/members ($55/non-members) / LIMIT 50 HUNTERS
Eureka Gold is our premier hunt featuring thousands of pennies (including Wheaties and Indian Heads) with some of them specially marked and each redeemable for a gold coin. There will be 1 gold coin for every 2 hunters. To find your way to the gold requires leaving no stone unturned, patience, wisdom, and some luck. When you redeem your token for a gold coin, SHOUT out loud …… EUREKA!!! The current market value of the gold coin is approximately $75.
CAPTAIN KIDD HUNT — FREE (NO LIMIT)
Captain Kidd is named after one of history's most famous pirates, William Kidd, a Scottish sailor. History tells us that Captain Kidd was a notorious pirate of the 17th century who spread his treasures across the globe. This is a free hunt for children ages 5-12 with lots of pirate booty to be found. Up to 10 detectors will be furnished for this hunt, courtesy of Minelab America and our preferred Minelab dealer, Executive Detectors.
NON-MEMBER FEE/MEMBER LATE FEE
All non-members must pay $5 extra for each hunt and any member who registers on the day of the event will pay $5 extra for each hunt. On-site registration will be in-person only; online registration will close at 11:59 pm on Sunday, May 5, 2019.
PARK ENTRY FEE
The park charges a $10 park entry fee per car. We have 30 park passes to give away. Registrants who signup early for all three hunts will have priority in receiving a free pass (one per vehicle with a qualifying hunter, as long as supplies last). For everyone attending the Roundup, please notify the gate attendant that you are attending the RTHC Roundup. The attendant will let you proceed to parking lot 12 without collecting the $10 fee though you can pay the fee at the booth if you wish. If you are entitled to a free park pass you can pick it up at the Roundup Registration booth. You can also pay for your parking pass at the Registration booth to help speed up entry for everyone. In all cases, note that every car must have a valid parking pass or you will be ticketed by a park employee.
For other park pass options please contact the Park Pass Sales Office at (800) 777-0369 ext. 2 or email passinfor@parks.ca.gov.

HUNT RULES
STARTING AND STOPPING
Start lining up for each hunt about 10 minutes prior to the start time. Once you are permitted to enter the hunt field, please walk quietly along the outside edge of the field, TOUCHING NOTHING ON THE GROUND on your way to your starting position.
Once the hunt is ready to begin, everyone will be asked to raise their coils in the air to show they are ready. The hunt will not begin until all coils are raised. Once the horn sounds you will have the full amount of hunt time to find as much as you can. Everything you find is yours to keep except for specially marked tokens, coins or other items which can be redeemed for prizes or tickets to win prizes, depending on the hunt.
Once the horn sounds again signaling the end of the hunt, YOU MUST STOP HUNTING, raise your coil in the air, and proceed immediately to the exit. To be fair to everyone, you cannot continue searching after the final horn sounds regardless of how close you are to recovering an item.
